BJC CONNECTIONS

BJC CONNECTIONS

Diversity and inclusion are a big part of BJC HealthCare’s identity. We are 30,000+ team members strong, and each of us is unique. That’s why BJC is committed to promoting a more diverse, engaged and inclusive workplace for everyone who helps to make medicine better. Inclusion can be described as feeling as though you belong. And sometimes an important step to inclusiveness is connecting with others. Our BJC Connections Groups are designed to do just that - connect you with others.

DEI WORKFORCE
BY THE NUMBERS

We are committed to advancing our organization’s culture through recognizing and celebrating the diversity across the system. We define diversity as the value that encompasses all the ways / characteristics that make one individual or group different from another.

A broad definition includes not only race, ethnicity, and gender identity, but also age, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, education, marital status, language, and physical appearance.

We measure what we treasure, and we ask because we care.

BJC GIVES BACK

Seventeen charities near and dear to the heart of nominating BJC team members will receive a share of the annual BJC Gives Back program to support local, grassroots non-profit health and human service agencies. The seventeen recommended organizations receive donations ranging from $500 to $3,500. On average, more than 100 team members submit deserving nominations annually, which are then evaluated by the St. Louis Community Foundation.
